05 Jul The importance of loving what you do

When starting a company, make sure that you love what you do. There are so many reasons why this is important, but one thing that might not always come up is the fact that you will talk about it all the time to so many people. You will repeat your business idea and your pitch over and over and over, and you need to be excited by it every time. It will be visible if you aren’t interested in what you are doing and it will make your path to success much more difficult, since people won’t be enthusiastic about something that you aren’t even excited about.

To keep yourself invested in your idea and pitch, try experimenting with what you want to say about your company, how you say it, and how your messages can be tailored to different audiences and settings. Remember though, that the core values and message should never change.  Also, keep in mind that it’s very difficult to overestimate the value of a strong pitch delivered with passion and confidence.
